- Your article is the fourth in this packet: "Forget the Fads"

Note for this Group: You have a decent summary here, brief and to the point. According to the wiki, though, I can't really give credit to Tyler or Geoff--you didn't contribute anything. I'm assuming the "guest" was Jake, though I could be wrong. This isn't perfect, guys, so if you want credit you'll want to do something to work on this. You can always give more details (not more quotes or opinion, but more details about the article). ~Ms. W

In the article Forget he Fads-The Old Way Works Best, the author Evan Keliher voices his opinion about how old fasion teaching strategies were much better than that of what is used today. In todays world it is very common to see secondary education classes full of technology such as laptops and lectures via powerpoint contrary to what Keliher would believe as the best learning tool. Keliher believes that the best way for kids to learn reverts back to the old one room school house days as teaching was done on a chalkboard with one teacher and a willing classroom. Keliher has studied other ways from a number of school districts that have failed to increase learning capabilities in the students. Keliher says, "We should stop using students as lab rats and return to a more traditional method of teaching."
